A winter's dream: II. The Witch
.... But suddenly she discovered a white owl walking towards her, holding a chandelier in her hand .
Accueillie avec bienveillance par la gardienne de cette forêt, celle ci se proposa de l'aider à retrouver son chemin.
Warmly welcomed by the guardian of this forest , the latter kindly offered to the magician her help to find her way back home.
Mais en fait c'était une sorcière , au service du roi et elle avait l'ordre de lui conduire tout étranger rencontré dans sa forêt . Elles partirent donc malgré la nuit qui tombait vers les montagnes enneigées où vivait sa Majesté .
But the white owl was actually a witch working for the King, and she had the obligation to bring him any stranger met in her forest. So despite the falling night they were gone to reach the white and high mountains , the abode of his Majesty .
